Approx turn around period for restricted imports
8-10 weeks for SHA import permit (dealer stock) to be approved by the Attorney General’s (AG) office.
2-14 weeks for your B709A (depending on state/territory) or AG permit (certified buyers certificate/certified sports shooter)

Once permits come in and full payment has been made, SHA will usually have the product shipped here within 14-21 days. SHA will try to incorporate the order with a single, consolidated shipment so the price is kept as quoted. However, a special order can be arranged to have the item(s) imported and released from customs as soon as the item clears – extra fees apply.
Serial numbers are required to submit an import permit.
On average, the turn around period is approximately 11-20 weeks. Once the shipment has cleared customs and has been collected SHA can either ship the item(s) to a nominated dealer and you will require a valid PTA for them to release or you can collect direct from SHA with the correct import permit and valid PTA.
High capacity magazines and restricted firearm parts are available for certain firearms if you apply under Cat D.
